   Yes, it is a sign of infection. But you must get treated for this immediately. Once the antibiotics start working, you will see the blood dissipate.

   Yes this can happen – especially if the infection has travelled to the kidneys. You really need to get to a doctor if this is happening to you. Drink plenty of water along the way.

   Blood in the urine is very common when you have a UTI. It also can be a sign of a kidney infection, or a kidney stone. You don’t mention if you have any other symptoms, though.

   A UTI is easily cured, so your best bet is to go to the doctor.
